The Alexandra Bar

The main bar at the Alex is a traditional bare boards pub bar with an interesting collection of pub and brewery memorabilia, along with a mix of seafaring and maritime items, all acquired by the pub's Landlord, James 'Tiny' Little.

The bar is always well stocked with real ales, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Or you can order a tea or coffee and enjoy proper tasty real pub food seven days a week from 12.30 to 7.00 p.m.

The bar leads to the pool area where you will find a traditional juke box offering music for all tastes (proceeds to charity), with a seating area around the pool table.

The main bar has a traditional real log fire, plenty of seating and tables, plus a large Plasma TV screen – perfect for enjoying with your pint of real ale!

The bar also leads through to the Lounge bar at each end and to an outside seating area.
